The company prefers a local candidate that is available to come into the office daily, but they will consider a hybrid opportunity for a qualified candidate. As a member of the Sales/Operations team, the Sales Assistant role has responsibility for guiding key business initiatives, supporting communications efforts, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. With customer experience driving every decision and action, this role is vital to ensuring a holistic perspective is applied to each project and initiative. The candidate must be able to manage complex schedules; perform planning, logistics and operational work; and serve as the communications hub for members of PeriShip’s sales and operations team.



The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required of the Sales & Operations Support position: Sales support for new customer engagement

  • Early engagement and interaction with prospective clients
  • Sales support for new customer engagement
  • Create and manage internal project management program, and ensure successful completion of activities for designated projects
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships between all stakeholders
  • Create, edit, and maintain SOP’s, including for prospects
  • Assist in the preparation of key customer deliverables, such as reporting, and other required documentation
  • Creating and designing slide decks for reporting purposes, training materials, and more
  • Coordinate meetings, document, and follow up outcomes of meetings
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the customer onboarding processes, including meeting notes, organizational structure, and identification of key individuals
  • Maintain Salesforce database
  • Performs other duties as required


·        Bachelor’s degree preferred; demonstrated experience in all aspects of the role in lieu of a degree is acceptable

·        Minimum of two (2) years of experience successfully managing cross-functional projects

·        Expert level proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Outlook calendar management

·        Prior experience working with Salesforce strongly preferred: experience with project management software is very helpful as well

·        Some supply chain or logistics experience is preferred



·        Broad, cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and support

·        Strong oral and written communication, analytical and organizational skills

·        Works well with co-workers, customers, and vendors. Ability to assimilate into a collaborative team environment

·        Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
